Pictograms brighten up the corridors

Mr Douglas (PT of Art) has been working with his tutor group on a project to select some new signage for the school using pictograms. The pictograms (representing each subject in the school) were created by the current S3 and S4 pupils as part of their core work in Art and Design.

As part of the project a small group of learners presented back at a S1 – S3 assembly explaining how the final designs were chosen and where they had decided to put the signage in the school.

Overall the project was a great success, has brightened up the corridors and will be built on over time.

The following learners were successful in getting their pictograms chosen to be used this year – Paulina Palugova , Megan Sinclair, Kirsty Adams, Gabriella Ordys, Scott Aisthorpe, Amber Bruce, Daniel Thain, Katie MacDonald, Shannon Burn, Micheala Mitchell, Calum Grant, Zara McLauchlin, Nyree Wilson, Calum Lyon, Evie Joy, Katrina Courts, Camryn Swan and Iona Wright.
