Landing on your doorstep either today or tomorrow is a letter from Patricia Watson, HMIe who was the lead inspector during the recent follow-up inspection of Kingussie High School in December 2014. The letter (officially published on 4th February 2014) is overwhelmingly positive but as you might expect also contains some areas for improvement. The key message is clear though – Kingussie High School moves from strength to strength.

In her letter Mrs Watson comments, “Relationships across the school are more positive and young people have an increased sense of pride in their school.” She goes on to comment, “Staff and young people have worked together to establish high expectations for excellent learning and behaviour. Sports and cultural activities continue to grow in the school. Young people’s achievements are now recognised more widely across the school and wider community.”
