KHS Student Xander was awarded the keep Scotland beautiful national young reporter award at the end of September for a report he did on a rare bee found in the Scottish highlands, his video was then submitted to the international young reporter competition and he received an honourable mention for his report and his style and delivery was compared to Sir David Attenborough for his style of reporting. Xander has also been shortlisted for this years NBN (national biodiversity recording group) young person award for his nature recording and conservation work which will be announced on the 18th November during their virtual annual conference and AGM.
